Earnin Update on Coronavirus

Earnin cares about the health and safety of our community. With the recent news concerning COVID-19, also known as coronavirus, Earnin is taking steps to help our community members protect themselves. We’d like to share those steps with you, as well as provide some ways you can pay it forward and help your own community.

Currently our team is following updates about coronavirus. We’re evaluating the situation to determine if we can increase Maxes for community members in certain circumstances to make sure they can cash out the money they need. Our customer support team is fully staffed to quickly fix issues, so community members will be able to access the money they’ve earned smoothly.

To make sure you can effectively use Earnin when you need to, please check that your app is updated to the latest version and that your bank and employer connections are current.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is updating its website with the latest information to help people keep themselves safe. We recommend that our community members follow the CDC’s guidelines to prevent illness, including frequently washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, using hand sanitizer with at least a 60% alcohol content, and covering your nose and mouth when you sneeze or cough.

Finally, remember to pay it forward and care for your community. If you see an opportunity to help someone that doesn’t put you in danger, consider taking it.

Stay safe, and thank you for being a part of our community.
